Dear student,
Welcome aboard! I am writing to you on behalf of the G10 math team. To help you transition smoothly to the high school math courses, we prepared the following content for you to work on during summer vacation. Your placement test in late July is closely related to the content. Please read the information on the cover page and plan your summer holiday accordingly. This summer, I suggest you spend time on the following parts:
IB Track
- Preview the following 5 chapters from the official website: https://openstax.org/books/precalculus-2e/pages/preface
Chapter 1: Functions
Chapter 2: Linear Functions
Chapter 3: Polynomial and Rational Functions
Chapter 4: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
Chapter 5: Trigonometric Functions
- On the left hand of the page, you can find practice for each chapter (01-08). You should attempt to work these exercises by yourself as well.

A-level Track
On the left hand of the page, you can find Cambridge IGCSE 0606 Syllabus for your reference.
Also, you can find reading task 1 and reading task 2. You should attempt to work these exercises by yourself as well. Your placement test in late July is closely related to the content.
